You would like to protect values? Could it be that you carry off a high damage if you have not chosen the best type of tarpaulin for your project ? It is not advisable to take simply the heaviest quality! Please, peruse only our recommendations or call us: ++ 43 7744/20047

1. If we distinguish first whether you your tarpaulin at short notice (to 3 months), would like to use in the medium term (till 1 year) or in the long term (till 3 years and longer).

- at short notice, the UV protection plays no role.

- in the medium term, your tarpaulin should be UV-stabilised and because with us the coating strength 50 % of the tarpaulin weight corresponds, your tarpaulin should have approx. 180 grammes per m ² with it enough UV-stabilisors exist in the coating.

(This is the case with us, with other suppliers this is able and will presumably soak off.)

- in the long term, your tarpaulin should be UV-stable permanently. The quality 250 grammes per m ², offers if the tarpaulins are used only now and again and can gather no water on the it. This strengthens the ultraviolet rays. Our tarpaulin with 220 grammes per m ² offer the highest UV protection with at most possible UV protection or our PVC tarpaulins.

2. Sharp edges. They can cut with a knife / cutter in every tarpaulin. Of course a tarpaulin is also cut if you cover sharp edged properties, e.g., wooden segments. For such purposes you should choose a tarpaulin which has a high band tear. With us the best qualitys are 200 grammes, 220 grammes and 250 grammes per m ². The best band tear has the tarpaulin with 200 grammes per m ²! This tarpaulin has very strong fabric tapes with 2400 denier and has with it a higher band tear than the tarpaulins with 250 grammes, 220 grammes and even PVC tarpaulins!

3. Patios cover. Approx. 95% of the buyers buy  the wrong quality here. Mostly a heavy PE-tarpaulin in white. With a lot of deployment of labour the tarpaulin is raised and fastened and in spite of promised UV protection the water bumps to you after 6-12 months! What runs here wrong? You were supposed in any business and without specialist staff. The tarpaulin hits with wind with full force on the substructure and already after a short time the coating is destroyed. They see in grayish spots on the tarpaulin. Coated fabric tarpaulins are absolutely inexpedient here. For patios we can recommend you only our PVC and all-important is present that the tarpaulin on the top has a varnished surface. You get never again a PVC tarpaulin, otherwise, clean. Here you can calculate your PVC tarpaulin!

4. High wind costs? The higher the resistance to tearing, the better. Do you know as hard the last tarpaulin was you had? When did this tarpaulin break? Notice please: most tarpaulins from PE are UV-stabilised. This means, these tarpaulins have no special UV protection. The UV protection arises only from the colour pigments. White (transluzente) tarpaulin is never UV-stable.

5. There are roof covers - a case for professionals - and for it a very special tarpaulin.
Also here the heaviest tarpaulin is not necessarily the best choice. The best choice from the point of view of the quality is absolutely a PVC-tarpaulin. Unfortunately, the PVC tarpaulins are so difficult that one receives this hardly on a roof, and just when fast on and must be covered, the valuable time to the next rain costs comes. Above all the application of PVC tarpaulins costs 2/3 to much more working hours than the application of PE tarpaulins less weight have. The best choice for roof covers is our quality 220 g / m ². This tarpaulin was changed during the last years also over and over again and was adapted to the wishes of the customers. A roofer has not only a size in stock. A roofer has on many tarpaulins according to building site immediately to have the right size for covering. Dimensions pressure in the corner: With this quality we have printed the size in every corner. Thus the roofer saves a lot of time, because he only must not measure out the tarpaulins.
Simply look in the corner and with on the building site take. Further this tarpaulin is coated weakly. This means for the craftsmen on the roof, much less reflecting effect and more security. This tarpaulin has at most possible UV protection. The craftsman is not angry any more at declining rice strength, but can trust in the long-term resistance to tearing. The tarpaulin also has after 2 years still the full rice strength - how at the time of the purchase. Another plus is the very strong coating. This tarpaulin is thereby very smooth. While other tarpaulins with coarse fabric get stuck with pleasure sometimes to nails and edges, this quality much more often simply glides about nails and edges.

6. Prefabricated house construction - timber-frame construction: Earlier were used here tarpaulins which covered the material during the transport on the prefabricated house fool's wands. With some of our customers we have developed the emergency roof to cover with the crane fast on and off. The emergency roof has proved itself above all with new buildings and saves a lot of working hours the craftsman. The emergency roof is strengthened a level tarpaulin and diagonally as well as in a lengthwise with overlay. In the middle the emergency roof has therefore 4-fold material strength and a tear strength of approx. 200 limited partnerships. In the middle a eyeletscrew is mounted and the prefabricated house farmer can lift the tarpaulin quickly with the crane, adjust about the construction and give up. It saves terrifically a lot of time and money. After working hours saved 10-12 an emergency roof has amortised. Recently I have found out from a customer that this has saved 200 working hours with only one emergency roof in 2007. Reckon up we need there nothing. If you have at disposal, however, no crane, we recommend you the 220-gramme tarpaulin.

7. Cross laminate tarpaulins. These are about one another laminated transparencies. There and again we are demanded whether we also have these tarpaulins. These tarpaulins were offered to us and we have received sample tarpaulins and have tested this in detail. In the beginning, nevertheless, we were surprised very much by the high resistance to tearing. However, the band tear is very low. This means, as soon as a hole is in the tarpaulin, here the tarpaulin enters quite slightly wide. Indeed, has fast turned out, why this is so: Cross laminate tarpaulins stretch with charge about 200-300% (we had right bag education), presumably also with high solar radiation and warmth terrifically. The tarpaulin does not tear immediately one separate stretches only. What we had after 2 weeks of test, was a tarpaulin with bagging and bags which enter by the second application at these places quite easily. Such tarpaulins are also to be used with high weight (to 300 g / m ²) if generally only for the amateur area. That's why we have refrained from cross laminate tarpaulins.
